چکیده

Biosurfactants are emerging molecules in the 21st century. However, their production intensification is still required for development of feasible bioprocesses. Therefore, this paper studies a new biosurfactant-producer, namely Geobacillus stearothermophilus DSM2313 during statistical optimization via response surface methodology. After analysis optimal pH = 7, glucose 50 g/L and NH4NO3 2 concentrations were determined. The biosurfactant bacteria was predicted by our developed artificial neural network. harvesting time broth emulsification index values can be simultaneously with constructed best experiment also kinetically described, kinetic constants observed. Surface tension activity measured to characterize formed products' efficiency. Based on these results, biosurfactants from act as bioemulsifier applied example microbial enhanced oil recovery.

Geobacillus stearothermophilus 6-phosphogluconate dehydrogenase complexed with 6-phosphogluconate

Two crystal structures of recombinant Geobacillus stearothermophilus 6-phosphogluconate dehydrogenase (Gs6PDH) in complex with the substrate 6-phosphogluconate have been determined at medium resolution. Gs6PDH shares significant sequence identity and structural similarity with the enzymes from Lactococcus lactis, sheep liver and the protozoan parasite Trypanosoma brucei, for which a range of st...
